JUST TOO CUTE!
So...Hallie is really obsessed with doing things that Mommy and Daddy do...Which includes wearing a baseball hat like Daddy! She was just too cute with it on so I had to take a bunch of pictures! The hat was given to her when she was born from MiMi and Papa Vander!
Vanderpool Family Fall Celebration!
We simply had the best time! It was great to spend time with my family and see all the kids enjoying the little things!

Recent Pictures around the house!
Hallie loves the pond outside of our home! We fed ducks there all summer...we saw them as tiny ducklings and now they are HUGE!! We will have to post some of the duckies sometime!

PURSE!!!!
Tonight as we were leaving for pizza....Hallie says. "purse, purse, purse!" We were taken off guard...since when does a 20 month old not leave home with out her purse??? It was too cute! Needless to say we found her purse, gave it to her (she was smiling ear to ear), and left!

A couple Random Updates:
Hallie has started to tell me "one minute!" She holds up one finger while saying this! It is sooo funny how much of a sponge she is...I know I have told her "one minute" numerous times. She is just too funny!
Hallie is learning her colors. If we use one of her numerous color books she names each color flawlessly. She does a great job if you ask her random objects as well but does make mistakes from time to time! I am so proud of her for being patient enough to learn these!
Hallie has begun to tell us randomly when she has to go potty. She is not consistent with this but does tell us from time to time when she has to go! I am so thankful that she is doing this on her own!
Hallie is also realizing that Daddy is gone for a long time during the day. She will look at me and say, "Daddy?," with sad eyes and voice. I immediately tell her that Daddy is working so that we can have food to eat. She gets really EXCITED and says, "Daddy-work!"

TOO MUCH FUN!
We celebrated a whole bunch of birthdays last night with my Mom's side of the family! We had a great time seeing everyone! G-Gs made a huge bon fire and we roasted dogs, had soup and chili, and lots of other goodies! It was so nice to be by the warm fire in the CHILI October air! Hallie was in heaven...she absolutely loves being outside! By the end of the night her hands were ice cubes and she was still having a blast...Oh the fun of being a one-year-old! We somehow managed to keep her stocking cap on...not always easy on a one-year-old! She also loved playing with my younger cousins and made a new BFF "Bek." Overall-we had a great time and just loved being with family.

CAMPING OUT!
So...Our first family camp out was what I would consider "city kid style!" We decided to do it in Mimi and Papa Evans' backyard. It got down to 40 degrees that night so we ended up having Hallie sleep inside the house. We had a great time together as a family! We roasted hot dogs for dinner and had chips and green beans to go with! We also roasted marshmallows for s'mores later on! They were great! The 3 of us sat by the fire and hung out in our tent for most of the night. Hallie was thrilled being inside of the tent! We made her a bed in the tent and let her go ni-night for a little bit with us. She was on cloud nine the whole night! It was so much fun to see her eyes light up over the little things. She is so easy to please! It was an easy and fun way to make a great memory! The next morning we went to Hy-Vee for breakfast...it was a great treat after a cold night camping out!
